Plan

Ask NWriter to read the canon and propose an outline or chapter plan. Review the proposal in the workbench before it becomes saved project files.

Draft

When supporting artifacts are ready, ask for a numbered chapter draft. Open the new chapter from the manuscript tree and read it in the preview.

Check continuity

Run a continuity pass that cites relevant artifact paths. Checks report issues for you to review; they do not rewrite chapters on their own.

Revise

Describe the change you want. NWriter explains continuity effects, then replaces a chapter only when you explicitly ask for the write.

Power users can type these in the composer. They are shortcuts inside the editor, not a separate command-line product.

/novel new — Create a structured project from title, language, genre, and premise.
